Gibson Acoustic

I am a beginner. I bought a used Gibson electric acoustic guitar. What kind of strings should I buy?

Should I buy string acoustic or electric strings. What is the difference in light and medium weight.

Do not listen to the guy who said … what are baby boomers and electric cords you should not put electrical cords on electro-acoustics. use acoustic strings and try is Addario, Elixir, or Ernie Ball strings, they are at the top of the line right now. Martin Strings are good too. They all run the same price .. except for Elixirs because they last twice as long as other brands. weights (they are actually called languages) are the thickness of the strings. If you are a beginner, you should use a fill light for illuminating the gauge until your fingers build calusus otherwise your fingers might start bleeding and that would be bad.
