Is the student dreadnought acoustic guitar pink suitable for 12 years?
The one I found was that 25 1 / 2 inches, but a Another site says I need a standard or full size. How long is it? Another said I need a guitar that is 36 ".
You'll need to go through the ladder. 25.5 inch scale is the size. This means that the guitar is 25 1 / 2 inches from the nut bridge. Some dreadnoughts can be a little shorter at 24 3 / 4 inches. It would also be considered in full size. I would be cautious about buying a "child companies" guitar, simply because a 12 year old will grow out of it so quickly, you might as well buy a guitar Full size. I had my first full-size guitar at age 11, and I continue to play at the age of 40.
