Who took this photograph?
This is a portrait of folk artist Clarence Schmidt:

It hung in my parents’ house during my childhood, and was one of my favorite things to look at. Unfortunately, they lost it years ago. Recently I was touring Isaiah Zagar’s Magic Gardens in Philadelphia and found it hanging in the lobby. No one there knew anything about it other than that it was given to Isaiah as a gift.
So. Who took this photograph? I’d love to track down a new copy for my parents.
Your link possibly shows the same photo you saw at Isaiah Zagar’s Magic Gardens taken with a cell phone. If no one there knew who took the original photo probably no one does.

Recorded (but never released) in 1971, the relaxed, low-key Living on the Trail is grounded in Von Schmidt’s impeccable finger-sty… |

Recorded and produced in Charlottesville, VA at the home of Danny’s good friend (and brilliant songwriter) Paul C… |
