Roger Waters New Washburn Signature Guitar

Washburn Guitars is a division of U.S. Music Corp., the world leader in the production and distribution of instruments frets, amplification and sound reinforcement. The 125-year-old company began as a manufacturer of high quality violin in Chicago and has since acquired Oscar Schmidt (Responsible for student instruments and autoharp), Sound Tech (sound and pro audio gear), Randall Amplifiers, and it is more recent acquisition and Vinci Strings. U.S. Music Corp. is considered one of the 50 largest companies in the worldwide music industry and is currently in Mundelein, Illinois.

Many great guitarists play guitars Washburn. Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has played the Washburn RR300 for two years and was amazed by the guitar during this period. When Washburn approached him about a limited edition signed, he readily agreed to collaborate with Washburn on this special offer.

The RW300 brings together a pickup Seymour Duncan P90 style and a Fishman preamp with a piezo bridge. These pickups, combined with chambered mahogany body and solid spruce top, reduce the risk of reactions and give the RW300 tone extremely precise and dynamic sound. Roger was the creator and sonic architect of such undeniable classics as Dark Side Of The Moon (who has spent nearly 15 years on the Billboard 200), The Wall (which has been certified 23x RIAA platinum), Animals, Wish You Were Here, and Final Cut. His debut solo long-term advantages and disadvantages of Hitchhiking was released in April 1984 to great critical and popular success, generating his first solo tour.
