Guitar mahogany vs. rosewood back and sides?

I am in the process of buying a new guitar. I'm a guitarist know fairly well and have played for over 10 years classical, electric lead and rhythm, just the guitar together. I want a good acoustic guitar my main rhythm / fingerstyle guitar for church, home and events. What would be best for all around your play. Solid mahogany sides and back, and sides and rosewood back? Or would it just be personal preference? I know rosewood is softer, brighter, and mahogany but I can not choose. I lean more towards mahoany. I'll regaurdless Spruce top, thank you.
