Neck Resonator
Oct/090
I have a banjo with "GSC" on it – Can someone tell me about it?
GSC (gold) is the brand makers. The banjo is a string of five with a time the king's head REMCO. The resonator is bent on the back and seems to be in dark oak, mahogany, possibly the neck is the same. It has a design of 4 spades and 4 diamonds together in a circle of gold under the GSC and inlaid mother of pearl at the top of the board finger. Below which is a similar trend, except with spades and hearts twice, spades and a heart underneath, two spades with three points below, so far that the trend that looks like a tulip with two sheets. Tuner keys look like mother of pearl, but I think are plastic. If anyone has knowledge I would appreciate it on the banjo.
