DW Drums vs. Pearl?

DRUMS – DW vs. Pearl? So Im buying a new high-end drum kit. Ive played for 13 years, and have been involved in several successful touring bands semi and studios. Im looking for an entry on my next purchase. This is my first high-end personal drum purchase. If someone wants to give me input would be nice! I'm going to reference Masterworks http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM05/Content/Pearl/PR/Reference-Granite-Sparkle-l.jpg Pearl or serial number collectors DWdrums http://www.dwdrums.com/showroom/finishply/black_ice.htm These two kits are the exact model I purchased. DW kit has an option of cage, but im not much of cages. What do you think?
