What are the diffences beteeen Classical Guitar and Jazz Guitar?

I messed around on the guitar for years and have always launched to not taking full Formal training whatsoever. My school offers classes and private lessons for classical guitar and Jazz Guitar. Could yall give me an idea of what to expect – I've seen guitar concert classical guitars and I am somewhat familiar with it, but I know nothing jazz guitar. I have a Fender acoustic guitar, but I do not know if it would work for these classes. I will talk with ulitmately teachers, but until what I get a chance to do that I would get a general understanding, if you guys have any thoughts on this subject. Thank you!

Theoretically Jazz can be played with any type of guitar. But I think what you ask is the "standard guitar jazz", which is a deep and cavernous body, the arch-top guitar. The body depth it can be played both acoustic and electric. classic jazz and share many similarities. In fact, may be an argument that jazz is derived from classical. Both differ from rock and blues in the sense that there is no string bending, instead play the notes right. There are fewer strings scrape and more single notes played.
