should I buy a Washburn or Fender guitar?

I’m beginning guitar, and I looked on craigslist and I found relatively new, extrememly lightly used guitars: one’s a fender, one’s a washburn. I looked at both of them in real life (with someone who is experienced in guitars and told me that they both look good) so they’re fine. I could get either one for a little under 100 dollars, so it’s a great deal. which one should I buy? I’m just starting.

Either are good. Just make sure they are playable and have good set up jobs on them. My experience with acoutic Fender stuff (I’ve had a 12 string guitar and mandolin) is they are middle of the road. In my personal experience and opinion on acoustic instruments, I think Washburn is a better brand. If it was an electric guitar I’d tell you to probalby go with the Fender.
