Please help. Should I buy a guitar with nylon strings or steel?

I want to learn to play guitar and I need certain information. Some people tell me that the best is to buy an acoustic guitar nylon strings and others tell me to buy steel. I need to know with certainty what is best for beginners. Also, what is the brand most guitar for beginners? Since it my first guitar, I wouldnt go to a lot of money. Depends on what you want play. Guitar with nylon strings are used in classical music and flamenco guitar while with steel strings are used on contemporary music – Rock, pop, folk etc If you want to get the nylon string sounding a steel string instrument, you can use a special kind of string called Silk & Steel strings. Remember – Do not put steel strings on classical guitar (with nylon strings) and nylon string guitar to the West (with steel strings) by doing this you will damage your instrument.
