Can anyone recommend a good starting guitar? Electrical and / or acoustic.?

So I'm looking to learn to play the guitar. I want to make sure I get something with good quality and good value. I try not to spend more than 450-500 $. That would be a good starting point electric? Amp? Me prefers an electric drill well on acoustic, but anyway, can you recommend a good acoustics so? Thank you guys!

I am a professional musician and own over 20 guitars, both acoustic and electric and I answer this question all the time for students and other musicians in its infancy. If you are a beginner, I strongly suggest an acoustic guitar. Several reasons for that, but mainly because an acoustic guitar is much more flexible and does not need an amp for you to play. Your family and friends you will thankful that they did not make any noise associated with learning to play an electric. Besides, as you improve, you can move up an electric. There are several guitars mark there, but their low end products for beginners are generally too expensive and cheaply made, just not worth it. I found that paying too much for a guitar crap ruins the experience and you end up with a guitar that is difficult to play. You can get great "undervalued" guitar for 300-400 dollars if you go with a Carvin C250. You can buy this guitar factory direct and it much more than the guitar, you must go for about $ 350. You can hear other opinions, but I teach guitar and students who buy this model are very happy. And the guitars are incredible for the money. Go to: https: / / www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=C250 simply put, is a lot of guitar for the money. As for electric I would suggest a Schecter C-1 Plus for the beginner. The same reasoning applies here as acoustics. It's a great guitar for both the price and the level you are. You want something with a modern sound, versatility and something you can develop with as much to improve. Skip the supermarket, department store guitars and get real. This launches a cross. I suggested it to one of my students, and launches the buttocks. Great sound and great tone. Go to: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Schecter-C1-Plus-Electric-Guitar?sku=513010 Buying and playing is my passion, and since you are a beginner, I tried to direct you to the tools that are within your range price and have the versatility to take you from beginner to intermediate and beyond a certain practice. I played both and I highly recommend both. Good luck and rock on.
