They have about sales During all the time. Sign for their e-newsletter and you will be notified of upcoming events and promotions. Sometimes, manufacturers saw their sales specific. Sometimes they get rid of remaining stock of last year models. Stuff like that. If you are interested in a particular item, you can actually ask the bank when the model year is up (electronic spring, usually with guitars in the new year, but this does vary by manufacturer, etc..) Once you know this, you can find great deals on previous models – and even if the model is radically changed (as when Fishman changed since his interpreter Amp Pro Acoustic Soloist of the things they have now). Also note – GC, like most music stores, used to do stuff, too, and they can be good business as well. Plus, you can always negotiate on instruments, especially if you pay cash. Negotiation may include stuff beyond price: things like the case hard, if not already included, some sets strings, picks, stand instrument, humidifier, etc. – be creative.
