Tips on guitar synth?

Should I buy a guitar with a MIDI output already installed as the Multiac Series Godin or Carvin SH575? or would I be better Simply divide a pick-up and put it on my regular guitar?

If you're comfortable with your guitar ordinary Pickup Truck divided could be a better alternative and less expensive. I found little difference in tracking accuracy between the MIDI guitars built therefor and guitars with microphones evenly distributed.
