What are the main differences between classical guitar and acoustic guitar?

I am eager to learn to play the guitar a classical guitar, but know almost nothing about it …. I try to understand whether to take a classical guitar class early or intro to the guitar sound. What, if any, are the differences between the two? And would take the two classes are a good suggestion, or if the learning of both no longer confuse me?

Classic would be more … classical music and acoustic intro would learn to play acoustic guitar .. Sound is just the type. I recommend the introduction to the acoustics so you can get more of an idea of the instrument first.
